25 Years and Counting
...
Since 1984, the Institute of Materials (IOM) has been the
only publicly available source of independently-obtained,
accurate and comprehensive data on the physical, chemical
and performance properties of engine oils in the marketplace.
With 25 years of collection, testing and reporting for thousands
of engine oils, IOM's industry databases have become a respected
source of independent information on engine oil properties
and the foundation for technical presentations worldwide.
IOM's engine oil databases currently cover North America,
Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Until now, our data has primarily been available to large
companies and select industry experts. We are excited to bring
our data to the internet.
